water ways of The Great Sandy Straits:
- including up to two species of dolphin, sting rays, turtles,
fish, birds life, the very shy & endangered Dugong
(sea cow) & on occasion we have seen five other species
of whale.
Cruises also take in the sights of The Hervey Bay Pier, Sunset and lights of the city, as well as the 13 km long beachfront Esplanade area.

Jason & Virginia Brigden have been involved in the Hervey Bay Whale Watching Industry since 1994. Whalesong Cruises Pty Ltd was established in 1997.
Jason and the Whalesong crew started to push the "old boundaries" for the start and finish dates of the Whale Watch Season.
In 1998 The Hervey Bay Dolphin Watch was established to offer a Marine Eco product during the Non Whale Season period.
Jason & Virginia are passionate about the natural attributes and beauty of this pristine area.
The Great Sandy Straits Area that consists of the waterways that lie between Fraser Island and the mainland have:
